It is easy to focus on everything negative that happened during the day but it is next to impossible to not find at least 5 things that were in your favor. Make it a routine to write at least 5 things that happened during the whole day that were positive in some way. You can write more if you want to but 5 should be compulsory. This will help you in shifting your focus from the negative aspects of the day and push you towards counting your blessings. When you choose to focus on the positive, it helps you in winding up your day on a better note and staying calm and positive. This will help you in staying away from the negativity that is prominent on social media and even enhance the quality of your sleep as well. Starting your day without social media and staying away from it for at least an hour or two will allow you to stay positive, mindful, and stress free.
